Stretching fabric on an 18″ x 36″ embroidery frame All the parts – Long frame boards with fabric attached to twill tape, Short frame boards with twill tape, Pins, Small C-clamps Roll the long boards so image is on top Both boards rolled and spread to correct distance Lay small side boards with twill tape facing down Pin fabric through twill tape at a regular spacing. Do BOTH sides. Place C-clamps at each corner and tightly gently. 4 corners clamped and ready to tighten. Loosen one clamp at a time, pull boards apart to create tension, retighten clamps. Go “around the clock” tightening each firmly. Another view of grip for tightening clamps. NOTE that pins can also be places at an angle. Push lightly to check for even tautness across the fabric. There should be no sloppy slack areas. Ready to work!
